Weekly schedule — new and improved!

After attempting to stick to the new and revised schedule I posted recently, I couldn’t take it anymore…the likes, the receipts, the fiefdom empire building.

Here’s the newly revised schedule that’s much closer to reality and more comfortable saying what I truly think:

Newly revised weekly schedule

I’ve gotta face the facts.  For me, there’s only one phrase that means anything:

Life is a party — pass it on!

How can I be in two places at once?

How can I 1) watch how well Jeff Gordon races in Charlotte and 2) dance to the music of Claire Lynch and friends at the same time?

Life is a series of happy dilemmas!

A special nod to Greg and Carolyn at Cook & Company; the friendly folks at L’Rancho Restaurant; Travis and cooks at Broken Clock Gastropub; whomever I’ve forgotten to mention lately in my rush through life.

Thinking, continued

I have been a celibate monk for the past six years, our cabin in the woods a virtual monastery, my wife refusing to have sex with me if I won’t provide her financial means to pay for health insurance.

What is my life to be from now on — the same as the last six years or something else?

Points to ponder, sitting here in a steakhouse restaurant in West Frankfort, Illinois, temporarily burned out on dancing, waiting for my bluegill fish dinner.

I am surrounded by boundless, abundant blessings and luxuries.

What more can a simple man like me want?

I remind myself the universe is not about or for me.

I am an illusion.
